What happened during that dinner?

Well, this is our mission: to show the kindness of Jesus to a lost and divided world.

This is why our feelings and circumstances are unreliable barometers of God’s faithfulness.

After all, this is how God talks to us.

It was nothing for Jesus.

THAT’S the scandal of the Gospel.

God cares about your current needs; He cares about your “now.”

Thankfully, it’ll be nothing like that.

Knowing those needs is one thing; living them out is another.
