Read right here every day

You can access today’s readings quickly and easily online.

We look forward to the growth that will happen in each of our lives as we read through the Bible together this year!

Just as spending time talking with a friend can help deepen our relationship with them, spending time talking with God through reading His Word and responding in prayer can deepen our relationship with Him!

You may not be able to do each of these every day, but making these part of your time in God’s Word as often as possible will add richness to your reading!

  1. Focus!
As you read or listen to God’s Word each day, ask God to highlight for you what He wants to speak to you. Pay attention to what gets your attention!
  2. Write!
Jot down a thought that got your attention. Chase it! Get messy! Just start writing and see where your thoughts go.
  3. Pray!
Talk with God about your thoughts. Thank Him for insights gained! Ask Him to move them from your head to your heart!
  4. Share!
Talk with others about your thoughts and watch the insights multiply as the interaction draws out still more!
  5. Takeaway!
Reflect on your interactions with God and with others and allow what you learned to impact the way you think, feel, act and respond! It might be to respond in praise, to take action to restore a relationship, to deal with sin, to encourage another… how God may direct you is as broad as His Word!
