Messiah Lutheran Church in Lincoln will host a Respite Project Event on October 26, 2024, from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm.

*Event is free.
*Lunch is provided.
*Must be caring for a loved one with a type of dementia.
*A Caregiver Support group is available from 10:30-11:30 for caregivers that do not wish to leave their loved one.

About the Respite Project:
Our program provides a caregiving break for caregivers that are caring for a loved one with dementia/Alzheimers. Caregivers are able to leave their loved one in our care while they run errands, have lunch with a friend, or check to-do items off their list for a 3-hour timespan. Their loved one with dementia is provided stimulating and structured activities by our volunteer team so they can get the rest they need.
