Jorge's Story

When Jorge in St. Paul found MyBridge Español, it quickly became his go-to radio station. He even downloaded the app so he could listen while working at the hospital.

One day during his shift, Jorge met a Spanish-speaking patient who was nearing the end of his life. Speaking in their heart language, the man opened up about his fear of death.

And Jorge shared the Gospel.

Jorge told him about the God who pursues a love relationship with us, a relationship that extends into eternity.

Then Jorge gave the man one of his earbuds, and together they began listening to MyBridge Español.

At that exact moment, the song “Hombres de Valor” — “Men of Valor” was playing, with lyrics about fully surrendering and joining the cause of God that changes the heart.

The man began to weep.

There in his hospital bed, with Jorge beside him, he surrendered his life to Christ.

A short time later, he peacefully passed from this life into eternity with Jesus.
