Have you ever had one of THOSE days?
The kind where you lose your temper… Say something you regret… Or find yourself stuck in that same sin you thought you’d already defeated?
Yeah. Me too.
And it’s on those days that the voice of shame gets loud.
It says things like…
“You’ve gone too far this time.”… “God’s probably done with you.”… “Why would He keep forgiving that?”
But the truth is… that’s not the voice of your Heavenly Father.
Listen to what Lamentations 3:22-23 tells us:
“Because of the Lord’s great love we are not consumed, for His mercies never fail. They are new every morning; great is Your faithfulness.”
Did you hear what I heard? God’s mercy is New Every Morning.
Not once. Not twice. Every morning!
That means when you woke up today, mercy was waiting for you.
Not because you earned it.
Not because you proved yourself.
But because that’s who God is.
He’s not a God who gives up on you.
He’s not watching from a distance with His arms crossed.
He’s near… Ready to forgive… Ready to restore… AND Ready to remind you that your worst moments don’t define you.
So take a breath today… Let go of the shame… And hold on to this truth…
God is merciful. And His mercy… is for you.
