Stand & Pray: Life Chain
Marking its 35th year since 1987, believers have gathered in cities nationwide on the first Sunday of every October to make a public, prayerful, and peaceful stand for Life. Life Chain IS NOT political or confrontational. Life Chain IS a silent prayer vigil by Christians to communicate their opposition to abortion. Participants prayerfully display uniform signs that are provided. It is an opportunity for local churches to unite in prayer and stand up for the rights of the unborn. Everyone who believes in the protection of unborn children and their mothers is invited to participate.
“…if my people, who bear my name, humble themselves, pray and seek my face, and turn from their evil ways, then I will hear from heaven, forgive their sin, and heal their land. My eyes will now be open and my ears attentive to prayer from this place.” –2 Chronicles 7:14-15
