My Bridge Radio
  • March 10, 1998 – The My Bridge ministry was incorporated by co-founders Stan Parker and Ron Brown… a ministry to the state of Nebraska with the vision “For Christ to be proclaimed across the entire state of Nebraska, giving every individual an authentic opportunity to hear and respond to the gospel.”
  • Launched the Voice of Mission Nebraska radio program.
  • Traveled the state meeting leaders, building relationships and researching where God was at work.
  • 1999 – Josh McDowell Right from Wrong Campaign.
  • 2000 – After Dark with Joe White at UNL.
  • 2001 – Statewide Assembly The Nebraskans the Church Forgot, highlighting the need on Nebraska’s Native American Reservations and calling the church to respond to that need.
  • 2002 – Statewide Assembly, A Call to Pray: A Call to Seize the Day, Advancing the Gospel as One… representatives gathered from most of the 93 counties of Nebraska.
    • State coordinators for National Day of Prayer.
  • 2003 – In 4 months, central Nebraskans committed $740,000 to help keep KROA(Grand Island) in the Kingdom, broadcasting hope and truth.
  • 2004 – Student Leadership Summits, challenging students toward leadership and working together to reach their school.
  • 2005 – Jesus Nation Assemblies in Norfolk, North Platte, Kearney.
    • Community Round Tables, helping to build relationships of trust, facilitating the discussion of “What can we do together that we can’t do apart?” and “What can we do better together that we can’t do apart?”
  • 2006 – Jesus Nation Assembly Panhandle.
  • 2007 – Began operating KPNY (Alliance) and translators in Sidney, Ogallala and Chadron.
    • Called in to the Dave Ramsey show on behalf of the entire My Bridge family who gave towards the Miracle Year: “We’re debt free!
    • Purchased KHZY (Lexington) and translators in North Platte, Geneva and Nebraska City… a perfect fit to the network God had been putting together!
    • Jesus Nation Ogallala & Southeast Nebraska.
  • 2008 – Jesus Nation Lexington.
    • Challenge to read the Bible in a year using the One Year Bible.
  • 2009 – Went on the air on KMBV (Valentine).
    • KRKR Lincoln was offered to us at a price only God could have made possible!
    • Partnered with Collage in Kearney to raise funds to purchase an ultrasound machine to increase the effectiveness of their ministry to women facing unplanned pregnancies.
    • Our first Extreme Christmas Makeovers with an outpouring of support from the My Bridge Radio family, transforming Christmases by meeting needs and lavishing God’s love on some families facing desperate situations.
    • First FreedMen Conquest – gathering Nebraska’s men for a time of challenge and worship.
  • 2010 – KQIQ (Beatrice) was offered to us with the only payment being reimbursement for the tower lease that year. Amazing!
    • Partnered with Tiny Hands International to recruit 1000 people to pray for One Girl being sold to Nepal brothels. Bracelets were purchased as a reminder and the prayer movement positively impacted the effectiveness of ministry in Nepal.
    • Began partnering with Christian Heritage to help recruit foster parents to meet the needs of the orphans among us.
    • Partnered with Christian camps in Send a Kid to Camp to provide scholarships for kids who didn’t know Jesus to attend a Christian summer camp for free. The My Bridge family participated by nominating the kids.
  • 2011 – Remember 2011, The My Bridge family memorized 52 Bible verses together!
  • 2012 – Partnered with The Hope Venture to purchase backpacks of school suppliesfor children in India. Local pastors and ministry leaders distributed the backpacks, which built ministry relationships and offered the hope of education and a better future.
  • 2013 – Love Found Me project in partnership with VOTA to build a border monitoring station in Nepal. As a My Bridge family we provided funds for not just 1 but 2… saving thousands of girls from the horrors of human trafficking.
  • 2014 – Done in One, God’s provision through His people of $425,000 in ONE DAY for My Bridge Radio to be fully debt-free, almost tripling the most funds ever given in a single day during Sharathon.
  • 2015 – Building the Future, $209,500 was given by the My Bridge family in one day toward the renovation of the Ministry Resource Center in Lincoln.
  • 2016 – Purchased translator 92.7 in Omaha.
    • Our S.W.E.E.T. ’16 Challenge to spend time in God’s Word and make it SWEET!
  • 2017 – Power Hour, God’s provision of $100,000 in ONE HOUR through the My Bridge family, fully meeting the $100,000 match for a total of $200,000 for generators to keep My Bridge Radio on the air during power outages.
    • Fight for Date Night – Couples followed a date night guide to invest in their marriage.
    • Kindness Challenge – Many in the My Bridge family committed to a 30-day challenge to transform a relationship.
    •  My Bridge moved into the Ministry Resource Center in Lincoln.
  • 2018 – Celebrating 20 years of God’s faithfulness!!

    I take it for granted sometimes but the milestone of how God made a way for the purchase of the Lincoln station is HUGE in my life. I travel around with it in my van with my children in the backseat singing the music everyday! That wouldn’t be an option for us without the Lincoln station. So thankful!!

    Watching God provide the opportunities for expansion, and then the resources needed to pay for the expansion, from both the listeners and those providing matching funds. It keeps happening as long as we seek his will!
